Roger has established himself in the world of decorating over the past twenty years. He has also worked diligently in his community where, using his styling talents for the past 20+ years, Roger has transformed the Huntington Green to a Holiday Winter Wonderland. Further community work has included 10+ years of chairing the Festival of Trees Celebration and Fundraiser to benefit the Volunteer Caregivers at TEAM. He was proud to be honored with the 2010 Shelton United Way Volunteer of the Year Award, 2013 TEAM Inc. Volunteer of the Year Award and 2015 TEAM Inc. Festival of Trees Event of the Year Award.

Laura Reid Ryan Event Staff

Designer, Decorator, Crafter, Baker, Gardener, Contractor, Draper, Hands-on DIY’er. If it involves being creative, Laura does it. With 30+ years of Design and decorating experience, along with all of the previously mentioned activities, she has tackled them all either personally or professionally.

From attending Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, to being the Retail manager of a multi-million dollar Artist and Drafting Supply Store, and also an assistant Store manager with the Home Depot. Also designing all cabinetry for kitchens and baths in palatial mansions in Greenwich, CT to waterfront homes in Block Island. Along with custom RV renovations, to high end event decorating in massive tents along the shores of Newport and Watch Hill, RI.

If it involves 3D creativity, Laura is the woman to get it done.

Ralph A Pastore CLIENT services Director

Mr. Pastore is excited to join his colleagues at RJS Designs.  He has produced events throughout the U.S. and has numerous theatrical / television / lecture credits over the last 25 years.  During his career in Financial Services, he was fortunate to interface with top firms focused on new business, client relations, and operational efficiency.

 Ralph is a former trustee of the board at Curtain Call, Summer Youth Festival, Inc, and member of the New Audience Development Committee at the Westport Country Playhouse.  Most recently he served as the Executive Producer for the Wilton Playshop responsible for the planning and execution of a number of key fundraising, theatrical, concert, and private events.  His diverse portfolio covers partnerships including Stamford DSSD, Stamford Health Foundation, Darien Arts Center, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, YMCA, Junior Achievement, various holiday festivals, regional/national direct & digital media outlets and a number private events.  He has negotiated relationships with professional agents, performers, artisans, printers, caterers, musicians, and designers to leverage their collective talent across many private and public venues. From his work with corporate and nonprofit event operations to weddings and intimate engagements, he is a proponent of innovation, fast paced responses and organization. His unique perspective balances solid planning with an upbeat approach as a trusted advisor to capture the style and priorities of a gold standard- first rate client experience.

gail coleman Event Staff

Gail Coleman has been working part time with RJS Designs for several years as a result of her innovative and creative style that brought her together with RJS.  Her passion for interior design, decorating and event planning has now become her full time focus after retiring from a successful career at a major OEM.  She has been an active volunteer within the Shelton community for many years, leading a number of local committees dedicated to improving educational and creative opportunities for children as well as being an active member of the St. Lawrence Parish Council.

 Gail has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University, an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a Program Management Certification from Harvard University.
